If an extra €199 is burning a hole in your pocket and you’ll be in the vicinity of Nürburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, why not take a thrill ride in a Jaguar Race Taxi on what is reputed to be the world’s most demanding track—the Nürburgring Nordschleife, known affectionately in the motorsports world as Green Hell?

Jaguar is now taking bookings online and in person at Green Hell for Race Taxi rides in a choice of two supercharged Jaguar models. The Jaguar Race Taxi experience in the F-TYPE SVR or XJR575 lasts for 30 minutes and includes a safety briefing, a one-lap ride through Green Hell, and a post-lap video footage review.

According to Jaguar, the Green Hell track is so demanding that one 20.83-kilometer lap puts as much stress on a vehicle’s chassis and drivetrain as driving 200 kilometers on a public road

Jaguar’s F-TYPE SVR Race Taxi at Green Hell can take one passenger, while the XJR575 can take up to three. Jaguar’s announcement states that the cost is per lap, not per passenger. All passengers must be age 18 or older to participate.

Jaguar’s announcement did not specify an end date for the Race Taxi ride opportunity.
